Education Policy
It Shall be the PRIORITY of the State of Washington to not only meet all Standards on Standardized Test, But to Excel in Reading, Writing, and Math
Education shall be an ALL- HANDS Evolution until we fix whats wrong with it
Schools are for learning
We Must provide the Best of Education to those most Vulnerable, We need more Para-Educators, we need to pay them well enough to be treated as a professional and support them -they have an extremely hard job
Teachers are not Baby Sitters
We Must Get Education Funding Under Control, The STATE of Washington is RESPONSIBLE to provide a Basic Education to Every Student in the State, They need to start doing it. But with that comes responsibilities at the district level including the imrovement of basic skills accessment scores and preperation for the workforce or further their Adademic Career

Phones and Unapproved Electronic devices are a distraction to the work Teachers do, they are banned at many schools, but continues to be a challenge.
Phones and any electronic device that is being used in a school during class time shall be classified as CONTRABAND under state code and shall be removed by law enforcement and subject to fines and judicial review with penalities to include fines and surrender of the offending device
Maybe students will get the message to keep their phones at home or put away during school
Computers issued by a school district are for Education use, the TAX payer is providing that device, Computer Games and Social Media are NOT part of an Educational Curriculum.
Having Games or other platforms shall result in appropriate actions to prevent the student from downloading or accessing games or other unapproved Social Media and may include the withdrawl of the device from the student, to have no access to any online services on their wn, with all the same responsibility as any other student
The State of washington shall make access to online Social Media unacessable to student age users during school hours
